MOKADOR - coffee pods
In September 2019, Mokador received the international DIN CERTCO certification for the compostability of Mokador coffee pods. This is a great success for the company. Only companies that have compostability certification can actually claim that their product is 100% compostable. The advantage of coffee pods is their 100% biodegradability, they are guaranteed to keep the coffee aroma inside, they prevent possible oxidation and they are compostable within 3 months. The coffee inside the capsules is 100% natural.
In September 2019, Mokador was certified 100% CERTIFIED GREEN ENERGY, which shows that 75% of the total energy consumed in Mokador's factories comes from renewable sources, which is good for environmental sustainability. The remaining 25% of the energy was produced through photovoltaic panels installed since 2010 and located in both Mokador factories.
